Ready for the experience of a lifetime? Wake up to the call of wild animals on Rockwood’s 30 000-acre rhino reserve in the vast wilderness between South Africa’s Great Karoo and the Kalahari Desert. Enjoy an early morning safari with Proteas cricket captain Quinton de Kock and, if you’re adventurous, ride along with Rockwood’s rhino rangers on horseback to meet 300-plus rhinos. Getting this close to a two-ton beast is life-changing!
Other activities include VIP spa treatments, sundowner safaris, gourmet dinners, campfire tales at the boma, and challenging Quinny to a round of clay pigeon shooting and bush cricket. If hanging out with SA’s national cricket captain and 300 rhinos isn’t already enough, you’ll also have a film crew documenting your Rockwood journey every step of the way.
One rhino is poached every day in South Africa. With your help, Rockwood can continue to safeguard the endangered white rhino. So far, our “aggressive conservation” approach has proven to be successful. But success doesn’t come cheap. Ironically, due our successfully growing rhino population, we can’t sustain our efforts.
All proceeds from entry ticket purchases go directly to helping Rockwood with:
“The passion that drives us is not enough. We cannot save an entire species from extinction on our own. Your charitable donations will help ensure the continued survival of the rhino.”
