YOU CAN PERSONALLY HELP A RHINO
You may wonder how your contribution can make a real difference in saving an entire species.
Let’s focus on just one rhino. His name is Survivor, and as a baby, a poacher shot him. Luckily, he survived, and today he is ready to start his own family.
When you help us protect Survivor, you play an integral role in adding to our growing population of baby rhinos.
You will not only save Survivor – you will help save the rhino species.
“The passion that drives us is not enough. We cannot save an entire species from extinction on our own.
Your contributions will help ensure the continued survival of the rhino."
Wicus Diedericks (Founder of Rockwood)
THREE WAYS YOU CAN HELP SAVE THE RHINO
Looking after Survivor, and his fellow rhinos, is one of the most fulfilling things we have ever experienced. We’re sure you’re going to feel the same way when you join Rockwood as a conservation volunteer.
You’ll get to stay with us for two weeks, interact with our gentle giants, and leave knowing you have helped save the rhino.
We don’t often read about the critical work scientists and vets are doing to help save the rhino. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to achieve our phenomenal 15% annual growth in rhino population.
We invite organisations and universities to carry out wildlife research at Rockwood, so we can all benefit from information exchange.
